Jesus brings calm back to a racing heart
His presence invites you to return to what matters without dismissing your responsibilities or measuring your worth by output.
Reflection
Martha was occupied with many tasks and expressed her frustration before Jesus. He did not ignore her effort; he pointed out that worry and agitation were dividing her attention.
Returning to what matters may mean completing one fewer task, listening without checking the phone, or asking for help before exhaustion. Jesus does not reduce your dignity to a finished task list.
Prayer
Jesus, you know my hurry and weariness. Gather my attention in your presence and teach me to carry my responsibilities without losing what matters. Amen.
