Jesus teaches us to care for one another even on difficult days
His attention toward those he loves shows that family care can take shape through presence, responsibility, and shared support.
Reflection
Even from the cross, Jesus paid attention to his mother and the beloved disciple. In a moment of extreme pain, he recognized a relational need and entrusted care to a close community.
Caring does not always mean doing everything personally. It can involve speaking honestly, distributing responsibilities, and ensuring a vulnerable person has support. Love also knows how to ask for help.
Prayer
Jesus, form responsible attention in our family. Give us humility to share burdens, ask for help, and care with presence and respect. Amen.
