Gratitude opens your eyes to goodness
Jesus teaches you to recognize every gift received without denying the difficulties of the present.
Reflection
Gratitude does not require calling a difficult day easy. It helps us notice a presence, an opportunity, or an act of care that might otherwise go unseen.
One of those healed returned to thank Jesus. We too can pause and name the goodness received, however small it may seem.
Prayer
Jesus, open my eyes to the goodness I can recognize today. May gratitude make me more attentive, generous, and aware of those walking with me. Amen.
